i love this sorority so much. all my friends are in it and they all talk so highly of each other. it’s great to see a sisterhood represent such great friendships and what a sorority is meant to be.

This chapter is very inclusive and the girls are super sweet! I’d rate them a 5/5 star rating. They are also very involved girls on campus.

The OP below is from the 1950s. The chapter is strong now, and as the OP said, it has the nicest girls with the best sisterhood. There is no denying that they have won homecoming and Miss Ole Miss for the last 3 out of 5 years no matter what the moms and grandmas say who come on here. This is not the AOII chapter they knew. It is more like the strong AOII chapters across the country. The girls in this chapter are not rejected. They are just not ALL from Mississippi. Thank the good Lord! Since many are from OOS, they aren't on the radar of the generational, incestual chapters that have only taken legacies and in-house legacies for 5,000 years. Again, thank goodness! Ugh. Can you imagine? Those girls are going to go back to their MS hometowns and marry some small-town guy from MS who is going to sell insurance or something, and start preparing their child for life at the two private schools in Jackson, MS for life at Ole Miss to repeat the same pattern. No, thank you. Also, let's try to be kind to our newest Panhellenic member, AXO. Remember, when people start to bash you, you know you are doing well. How hard is it to be kind? Do you think your newest homecoming queen is a reject? No way. She is one of the most loved and respected individuals on campus. She just came from OOS, and Ole Miss still has a lot of people who are all about small-town mentality.

I attend Ole Miss and anyone will tell you that AOII is known as the “reject” chapter. It’s all cliches and stereotypes involved in sororities. The girls in this chapter are probably the nicest and most welcoming of any other girls I’ve met in other chapters, but as a whole people have labeled AOII as the sorority you end up in when no other chapter wants you and it really sucks

You know when others come on here to bash you, that you are doing well and a threat. Great! Good work, AOII!

I hung out under the AOII tent during a huge rain storm last year on their Parents’ weekend. I ended up staying and having a blast with the parents and all of their kids seemed like great kids. Definitely had some hot moms. They broke out some homemade moonshine, and I missed the game sliding down the hill with some of the AOII girls and parents. I thought they were a great and fun group all around, but I’m not part of Ole Miss’ Greek life anymore. I was just there visiting some friends and spent 1/2 of the night just drinking and eating under their tent like I was one of them.
