I feel like Greek life kind of sucks here. I expected it to be a lot better considering the schools size but nothing is as good as it should be

Greek life is terrible because of rankings , state has such a competitive Greek environment if your not top house it’s horrible

San Diego State Greek life is getting weaker by the year but it's still decent. SDSU keeps getting smarter making greek life weaker.

Don't be intimated by the greek life here. At the end of the day the rankings don't matter and it depends on what you put into your chapter and the connections that you make! Whether you are a top, middle, or bottom house you are going to make great connections with another house and the other people in them. Try to surround yourself with people who don't care about the rankings either and you'll be fine. We may not have the best tailgates, but SDSU has some of the best frat parties! Go aztecs

sdsu is honestly such an amazing school and you would be so lucky to go here!!!freshmen housing isn't the best but its a public school so its not like you should expect a castle. greek life can be very particular but also fun when you meet new people! amazing school 11/10

Greek life is pretty huge here which is why it's very exclusive and competitive among "tiers". But everyone is so attractive here that the bottom houses here look like top houses at other schools.

about 10% of the school is greek but they run everything from the parties to the school. Downside is if you aren't greek at state then you probably aren't going to have much of a social life sadly. Some of the hottest girls here. An SDSU 7 is a dime anywhere else. So many girls at the parties since theres around 80-110 guys per fraternity so at every party its around a 3-1 ratio if you are in a middle or top house. It is pretty hard to get in a good house though, for guys and girls.
