Im a senior in high school and am officially attending UCF starting in the fall:)
I know for sure I want to be in a sorority, I have not only heard but have read all the stereotypes about greek life but also know that half of them arnt true. I know a lot of my choice is going to depend on how i personally connect with the girls but Im interested in a honest opinion about the sororities and really just want suggestions on what to look into!!
Any advice for my freshman year and or the rushing process is greatly appreciated as well. Thank youu:)

Advice to the incoming freshman...
keep an open mind, and don't pick favorites the first day of rush. With all the excitemnt and exhaustion after the first day, wait until the second to start forming real ideas and you'll begin to see where you fit in and which group of girls you connect with the most. It'll be clear which ones you DON'T like at ALL and that's why you get a choice to vote and drop the ones you like the least. By the end of the week you'll know and hopefully get your top pick! Even if you don't like your final choices and choice by bid day, you can always rush again a year later, and try again:) but good luck to you! See you on the other side. ;)

Hey! I was a rush counselor when I was a senior at Indiana University. I totally agree with the previous post...there is so much adrenaline on the first day! My advice to all the rushees in my group was go where you feel comfortable. On any campus sororities all get a stereotype. Try to get past what you've heard and really talk to the young ladies you meet. Rush by it's very nature is a "false" environment but you will be able to tell where you belong. I can't emphsize enough to ignore what you've heard about a sorority and go with how you feel when you are actually there. I hope this helps!
