It matters which one you’re in to the extent that they mix with plenty of good sororities and are fun and have good parties and house

Its a good idea to aim for at least upper middle to get the full experience and find your group of friends from the large group. Any lower doesn't throw as big of events, doesn't mix as often, and is much smaller and you may not find your group within it. Beyond upper middle just pick whichever guys you like the most.

honestly, to some people it matters what fraternity you are in but a lot of that is for the title and connections. i know people who are unhappy in higher ranked fraternities and have debated dropping multiple times and i know people in lower ranked houses that are the happiest they can be and found their brothers for life. it’s perspective. people say higher ranked mix with “better” girls but that idea is pretty toxic putting one girl above another in those situations. you go to a frat you like and stop thinking about these damn tiers
