If i want to join a sorority do i have to go to parties & stuff for recruitments? i am not about the party scene but still want to be a part of a sorority and i'm starting to get discouraged that i'll have to go to a bunch of parties to get into them

Not that I know of! You will most likely get invited by going to recruitment events but no one ever forced me to go to parties, I knew multiple people that didn’t and still got bids. If they like you and you like them that’s all that matters! No one will ever force you to do something like that if you’re not about it

I was also not a big party person, so don’t get discouraged! There’s still a ton of fun things to do with sisters besides going to parties and it won’t impact your chances of getting into an organization.
