Winter rush vs fall rush

Hey, I am planning on rushing in winter. Are there any differences between fall and winter rush? E.g. need for contacts and competitivity

Fall is always more competitive. For top houses this semester it was more about connections and meeting guys early since there weren’t any in person open houses. Winter will probably be a bit more competitive this year since less guys rushed in the fall but shouldn’t be too bad if you’re cool
