If you were #unaware this was a satire post. I am clearly calling out the fact that the only reason the top tiers are the top tiers is because they only promote the western ideals of beauty and only invite back WOC if they are assimilated into Western Beauty standards. Show me one black women in APhi or TriDelt’s PC rocking her natural hair and or one “Big Girl” being her authentic self and I will back the F off.

Why are the lower tires where they are, cause people like you on GR. Who would straight call a top tier a top tier but won’t admit why they are being placed there. And when come does call them out you respond saying I should keep my opinions “to anonymous troll boards” but I don’t see your chapters doing anything to promote diversity. Instead you rather stay oblivious to it. #andthatsthetea

OP has a point. There is like 1 WOC in APhi’s and DDD’s PCs and I doubt anyone is above a size 10.

They are only calling it how they see it. Y’all rank the low tiers low because they have women that aren’t cookie cutter and full of Splenda (aka fake).

So are you saying Greek Life, a community that prides itself on philanthropy and core values, shouldn’t normalize diversity? If you look at rush lines, you will see many MANY more WOC going through recruitment Than you see in those pledge classes. It’s not a coincidence that you don’t see a lot of those women in “top tier” houses. So many women who don’t fit the physical profile of the ideal sorority girl get filtered out of houses with the recruitment system that many top Tier houses use, and guess what!!! It happens before they even step into the houses during first rounds. To say that there isn’t an obvious pattern is absolutely ignorant. Call it what you want.

so you agree? Greek life, or at least the top tier, is for hot, skinny, white girls? Which would mean that it is, indeed shallow? It’s funny that you took offense at being called shallow more than the fact that there’s literally no diversity in Greek life.

Diverse chapters don’t get the least amount of people. 16 out of 17 chapters made quota. And even if they do, it’s because the system discourages WOC from making it all the way to Pref.

Yeah? What house are/were you in? Also, why are you still on GR if you arnt an undergraduate? Maybe expressing your interest with a COB bid would have been helpful from the beginning. I just know I read the article about her experience and she ripped the houses apart.
