nightlife at ucla/westwood

whats up everyone, im visiting a bud at UCLA in two weeks, but hes not the "going out" type of person.

basically im in a frat at an SEC school, my bros and i are trying to have some fun in the westwood area, which bars and clubs do y'all recommend for the week? i've heard good things about a "mom's bar" ? also how seriously do bouncers card?

yo, im from the south and go to ucla. there aren't bars on campus, but its not too hard to find places to get booze in westwood. clubs are everywhere, but they are expensive and oftentimes really hard to get into seeing as its hollywood. sec style debauchery isnt too big here but frats throw down and so do some of the bars. just ask students once youre here and dont act too fratty bc the weed/hippie/boarder thing is a tad bit more popular out here.
