what’s the deal with frats?

I’m an incoming freshman and think I want to rush in this fall. Haven’t seen much here about frats. I will know zero guys when I get there and am from east coast. Would it be better to wait and rush next year when I know more people?

You should go out to rush in the fall and check out all the houses anyway, even if you don't join one. Top houses here are Sigma Chi, SAE, and Sig Ep. Sig Nu and ZBT have good guys too and do events with the top sororities. Go to other houses too though, there are cool guys at most houses and you don't know where you might fit in.
