rushing as a sophomore

I signed with a top fraternity at the university I'm currently at but am quickly realizing how much I hate this school....I plan on transferring to USC next year.
Assuming I get in, is it any harder to rush as a sophomore? Do fraternities treat transfers differently than freshmen? Thanks
