Do not transfer in...there are a whole bunch of reasons, but if you are looking to join a sorority- your chances will be slim. Recruitment takes place at the start of spring semester, so if you transfer in as a junior in the fall, you will almost be a senior.
Plus, hanging around with 18-yearold pledge/new member class class sisters will probably get really old very quickly if you did get picked up in recruitment.

If Greek life is your primary motivation, I would not transfer here as a junior. SMU is great all around inside and outside of Greek life. A lot of people have transferred here and had an excellent experience socially and academically without rushing.
