not the nicest girls on campus. full of high school type drama and the sisterhood is non-existent. Super cliquey and full of themselves

Honestly so impressed by theta this year. They got so many gorgeous girls and their rush impressed me. I went a different house personally but I’m very impressed by this group of girls. U should be honored to get a bid from this group!

theta is pretty over hyped. they rush one really hot friend group and then just throw a bunch of other girls in their pc. they give snap bids every year. they talk poorly about all the other sororities to scare girls into going theta. kappa and pi phi don't have to do that, they know their worth

Considered to be the top chapter at SMU. That’s why they get trashed sm on Greek rank. But I find it funny that everyone is saying they have “bad sisterhood” when this is known to have the strongest sisterhood out of the top 3 and also strong campus wide. Thetas adore theta. The sisterhood is why half of my friends joined. I’m in another “top” sorority and I wish I had gotten a bid to theta, you can just tell their friendships are going to last forever

These girls are smart af, classy, wealthy, and have southern manners and southern belles. Thetas are wifeys. Guys love em more than anything else. Awesome girls, super hot

Ok, please keep in mind: I am not affiliated w/ greek life at SMU; like at all. However, I'm noticing a very common denominator amongst sororities (can't attest for frats). "Lower-tier" sororities like Alpha Chi tend to have all the minority women who've rushed whereas Theta caters to a very specific type of girl: white and wealthy. I've had BIPOC friends feel uncomfortable during rush by the way they were felt out of place when talking to them. They seem like nice girls - albeit tone deaf - but white girls with spray tan don't constitute people of color. Theta (and other sororities, too!) need to do better.
