this will be the most competitive rush in history
by: IveBeenHereAWhileFreshmen, listen to me. You guys need to understand how competitive rush has gotten over the years. Over the past 3 years, big houses such as SAE, Dsig, Beta Sig, Sammy, DTD, KDR have gotten kicked. Even mid tier houses like Beta and AXP aren't here anymore. This means there's less bids that go out in a larger pool of kids. If all those top houses that aren't here anymore took an average of 20 kids, there's 140 spots gone in the top spot. Top tier is now extremely selective. Most kids won't end up with a bid because they'll only rush the top houses and not get invited back to rush events. On zone days, it's really important to check out at least 15-20 houses in every tier or else you run the risk of not getting in anywhere. Remember, more kids are rushing now than they were 5 years ago, but there's less houses to actually get in. A lot of kids are going to end up without a bid, but if you rush smart you should be able to find a house you like.

The chapter sizes range from 19 to 136 members. PCs can be larger. Those 140 spots only work out to about 4 more guys per house. Some chapters would happily take 10 or more since their pcs are sometimes only 2 or 3. There is plenty of room for everyone who wants to be Greek if they consider houses other than "top". You just need to decide if you want to be Greek or not. There are truly cool kids in every single house that have a blast together. Just don't get your heart set on a couple of chapters and you should be okay.

Most people are set on top tier and just don't get invites back and always become geeds. Its okay to rush other frats you know. You prob can't even tell them apart when they aren't wearing letters.
