pi phi dug their own coffin

The YDN article legitimizes everything that has been on this site. Bad move. If Pi Phi had dismissed it as "fake news" as they had been saying, it probably wouldn't have reached as wide an audience. Now everyone knows about Pi Phi's reputation. Especially frosh. Think about what happened with Leo. Did people care about what was said on GreekRank? No. But once it reached the news, everyone knew about it. There were articles by poc saying how good Leo made them feel, too — great. Didn't change how the public felt. Now Pi Phi has inadvertently blown up this scandal all by themselves.

every freshman that i know (i don't know athletes) wants theta or alpha phi. so the greekrank drama has influenced public opinion, and so did the rumpchat post, and so did the YDN article.

reputation is everything. last year pi phi self-ranked so much that freshmen who were literally BORN to be in theta were all over pi phi until rush came and they saw how mediocre it actually is... greekrank and online forums mean a lot in all honesty! why else would pi phis even be ADDRESSING it
