Some honest suggestions: listen up guys! 1) Slightly increase the size of your spring pledge class. Now I'm not talking SigEp big, because you want to maintain the tight brotherhood, but increase the size to extend the social reach. 2) Pictures. Girls love pictures, and that's why many love going to SigEp events. Take lots of filtered photos of mixers (like the hunters vs. hunted), crush events, and formals.

3) Crush was nice at the house this semester and I appreciate the setup, but I honestly wish it were at a rented venue. 4) Host more invite-only events! Thursday late nights are great for everyone, but hire a bouncer and do themed nights with a restricted guest list!

It’s fairly classy, popular with the ladies, and fashionable for a Thursday night. But it is as white as “Friends” and often served with cheese. "The SAE guy: he played sports in high school, he’s probably a political science or econ major, he’s got an idea of how to look put together. SAE parties are frequent and well-attended, partly because we try to open them up to the whole campus. When SAE sends you a personal invitation — you’re probably going to show up.

kinda new to the whole fraternity thing... it does say a lot that you don't want to put SAE on your resume. What if you're on the executive board... Anyway, every girl I talk to tells me to stay away from SAE so yeah

@ commenter below. Let's be real. You don't have to put SAE on your resume. Choose the fraternity you want based on which you think you'll have the most fun in, and which one has the people you want to be friends with. Not over which will "look good" for jobs. What an ignorant commenter! I'm interested in rushing SAE, but I'm not sure how to get on the panlist. anyone know? how do I show that I'm interested?

I'm very interested in rushing. SAE is definitely known among frosh to be top tier and very active. How do I go about the process? Who do I contact to get on the panlist?

below poster is false. I know the person accused and he would NEVER say those things. Also, I don't know about that WASP thing you said as he receives financial aid and would probably identify as being a low-income student. Same with other brothers in the fraternity

If you know anybody at Yale, or in SAE then you know that they are the top fraternity in regards to: looks, brotherhood, attire, wealth, and diversity. The recent outcry from a random post that was heard through two other people is absurd. This is typical of Yale culture to make a big deal out of what obviously is a false accusation. As I mentioned, when you are at the top, everyone wants to take you down. Remember the case from last year that was pinned against the same fraternity? Case closed.
