Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at Stanford University - SU 3.4 Because i can’t respond to the essay by “Jenny” from Piphi below… on behalf of normal sorority girls everywhere let me say this: Jenny you suck and give us all a bad name. Way to crap on another srat to try to make you feel like you are better than … well… someone…anyone bc you got a snap bid to a house that used to be popular. Honestly you and your misplaced MAGA crew are all very kind but rather draining to be around bc this type of drama. This (and the tacky PG post) is exactly why pp hate on you.

Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at Stanford University - SU 2.9 Many are great one on one. Together they can be a bit much. They have a ton of dancers and cheerleaders and synchronized swimmers and pageant girls. It is rumored that they recruit based on looks first and foremost which they deny. Have to share house with kappa next year.

Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at Stanford University - SU 3.4 The definition of “mid tier”. Anyone who ones on here claiming they are “top” or “bottom” 100% has an ulterior motive or agenda. Like no people aren’t turning down kappa or theta for this house. But there’s nothing “bottom about it either.

Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at Stanford University - SU 3.0 Solid group. My friends all went kappa or aphi. Def not as popular as kappa but still fun. Hasn’t been at Stanford as long as other chapters and just got a house this year.

Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at Stanford University - SU 3.2 They are all very kind, but I do feel like they are always trying to prove themselves since they are lower tier. I personally don’t know a single Aphi that ranked Aphi over any other sorority (except for maybe Chio). Since Tridelt boycotted recruitment in the fall, a lot of the POCs who would normally join tridelt joined aphi instead. So the new pledge class is fairly diverse! However, Aphi is sharing a house with Kappa next year so it doesn’t create a very inclusive space for POC and especially low income members. I definitely think this will affect their diversity and inclusion moving forward. Overall, very fun but draining since the majority of them care deeply about their rankings and are constantly comparing themselves to other orgs.

Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at Stanford University - SU 3.0 These girls put too much focus on looks vs sisterhood and leadership. They say they don’t follow national protocol that has been exposed at other schools that ranks girls on exterior beauty but I know great girls they cut right away that are not traditionally pretty. And I have yet to see them cut a girl that guys think is hot.

Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at Stanford University - SU 3.5 It’s the girls who hang out with kappas and thetas but didn’t get into those. So yeah it’s not first choice but still mostly pretty girls who are fun to party with. And they just got a house so could be getting more demand.

Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at Stanford University - SU 3.7 The last few pledge classes have made large strides in diversity, and the pledge classes are well balanced between athletes and various clubs and activities on campus. All the girls are so friendly and actively make efforts outside of their sorority. Since they are newly housed, they aren’t as cliquey as the other sororities (as many live out of the house). Definitely on an upward trend.

Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at Stanford University - SU 3.2 This years class was well balanced like yes 1/3 athletes but spread across many teams- soccer, tennis, vb, track, crew, etc. And a full 1/3 are woc. I think with tri delt not doing formal rush -and pi phi cutting everyone who isn’t high profile - a phi was able to do especially well. Let’s see if they can build on it.
