Formal Recruitment for Pan-hellenic sororities (National) is a weekend long mutual process where you visit each sorority every day. The first day, you'll meet all three sororities, Alpha Gamma Delta, Phi Sigma Sigma, and Alpha Phi. At the end of the first day, you'll rank the sororities from most to least favorite. IF you get invited back to any sororities, you'll participate in day 2 to learn more in depth about the sorority/ies you were invited back to. You'll complete the ranking process once again. Finally, there is Day 3, IF you're invited back to any of our sororities. The final ranking process is done and the next day is Bid Day, you may or may not receive a bid from a sorority. I highly recommend going through recruitment, especially for SFSU because it is a commuter school. For more info in the upcoming months, follow @sfsu_panhellenic or visit www.officialsfsupanhellenic.com for more information! There are also smaller, local sororities who have a rushing process and because each one has a different process, there will be more information to learn about them during the first couple of weeks in school.
