greek life at sam

Why does it seem like greek life at Sam isn't as fun as other schools? At Texas they have Round-Up, at A&M they have Chilifest, at Baylor they have Dia Del Oso, and at Tech they have Low Hoop.

Because it's not. Greek life at Sam if full of drama, illegal behavior, backstabbing...oh, and did I mention drama? Its worse than any high school.

SHSU is not a top school in the state. It doesn't attract the top students. Greek life needs some better Panhellenic and IFC leadership and they need to understand how to market Greek Life on campus. It could be more fun if a chapter decided to do a big shindig like a Bike-a-Thon and trike race, or campus pig roast etc... It will take one frat and sorority to work hard to make it a crazy campus weekend. If nobody wants to do the work and marketing, it will never happen. You have to have highly motivated organizations and a very strong alumni base to advise and support it all.
