is sk shutting down?

i know someone in there but I heard they only initiated 20 new members last formal recruitment and have less than 50 sisters after their seniors graduated

This post is so annoying. Who would post like this and word it like this other than someone in another org trying to make them look bad?

One of my close friends was the SK recruiting chair for a semester and she honestly doesn't think they'll still be an active chapter in a year or two, and yeah those numbers are legit

There are definitely more than 50 sisters. Yes, the pledge classes are small but that’s because SK is considered “bottom tier.” People would rather not be in a sorority at all than have that reputation of being in a “bottom tier” sorority, so they drop. As of now, they are not shutting down.

they had 70 last spring before sisters graduating. theyve only taken like 20 girls the last few recruitments so im almost positive they are under 50. which i dont know how they would be able to operate with that few sisters

I have a couple friends in SK and from their conversations it seems like the biggest thing holding them back is not having enough money to compete with other chapters on campus and their advisors not letting them do things like other sororities.

Honestly they’re better off doing what AXO did - shut it down and come back in 5 years. That’s the only way they could redeem their reputation
