University of Washington Seattle - UW Greek Life Reviews

The UW greek system is awesome because you live in the houses as a freshman so you get to know your PC well. Minimal hazing and a cool system where frats party with other frats so you get to know guys in other houses.

For a Greek system that doesn't even have fun parties, people obviously care way too much about what other houses are doing based off the frequent posts. If you want fun Greek life, don't go to UW.

UW lacks in the party scene and overall popularity of Greek life as it is such a big school. There is hazing that is involved also at UW.

Greek life at UW is way more laid back compared to other schools in the sense that you don't have to be in the GS to be cool. That being said, there is a pretty distinct divide on campus between the GS and non-GS students, so if you tend to be more social, then the GS is definitely the way to go at UW since dorm life is overwhelmingly anti-social. I have met some very great people here!
