Greek life is amazing!!

For the love of all things fun, RUSH!!! Most of the stuff on this site is negative, and a lot of it is untrue. Literally, Fraternity & Sorority life is 100x better than the dorms, and you’ll find that out very soon. Decent Dorms with a Meal Plan that doesn’t make you starve will run you about $4,500, whereas Frats are only around $2,800-$3,500. Frats are good for lifelong friendships, alumni networking and job connections, academic study partners, and of course... AN ACTUAL SOCIAL LIFE!!!! For Sororities, you can either COB some of them, or try Formal Recruitment in the summer to see all of them during a week. For Fraternities, all you have to do is put your name/contact info on Chapter Builder, reach out to one of the house’s recruitment chairs to schedule a tour. After tours, they will invite you back out and bid you after a few events. Very easy process! Fraternities also pay for your dorm cancellation fee!!

Sigma Chi is literally one of the most whackest houses. Fraternities started as secret societies to better men and make sure the men help and better the community. All Sigma Chi does is kill their livers, beat up and haze their pledges, and disrespect & objectify women. That’s why their alumni barely help them out anymore. It went from Fraternity to Party pad with no morals other than drink alcohol. And don’t even forget about how broken the brotherhood is. It’s barely existent since they have so many members that joined for nothing but the alc and the ho.es. Mind you, they were on social suspension all Fall Quarter last year and nothing will change this year

Great Greek system. One of the biggest ones outside of the south, with huge chapter houses. Hazing is basically non existent compared to other schools, and even the frattiest of houses are pretty down to earth. There is definitely a house for everybody here

Making this strictly about Greek life and parties/looks...UW is embarrassing compared to WSU and absolutely not a party school. The people are very unattractive on the outside and the parties are really lame all together, but the physical frat buildings are nice I guess. As far as pac12 schools they’re Arguably at the very bottom

Honestly, good luck trying to party in McMahan if you don’t go Greek!!! UW has one of the most well-rounded Greek Communities in the U.S.
