Amazing!!

The school is great greek is fire but only if your in the top tier as you will have the either the hottest guys and girls who truly know how to fully party.

Pretty standard Florida greek life, tiers may be pretty subjective here but overall the fraternities here do better than their respective chapters in other states. A lot of petty drama on this website but from personal knowledge, in real life a lot of the stuff said here doesn’t carry over to real life. The biggest thing separating them from big name schools is the lack of greek housing. The school charges their greek members to stay in basically dorms and charges them a large amount at that. It puts a lot of fraternities in debt and with greek culture here (and all over the country) decreasing in numbers, the fraternities that pay for this on campus housing suffer financially. The real plus with this school is their party/nightlife/tailgat e scene. Tampa is filled with hot spots, and usf greek members typically run the scene. Tailgates attract a lot of people, and with no shortage of big name dj’s in Tampa, fraternities typically set a pretty fun environment at their parties/tailgates. All in all this greek scene is good, of course the biggest takeaways this school should focus on is better inner fraternal relations and trying to work out a better greek housing system.

Greek has taken over and kind of rules the school now. It’s growing bigger every year and controls the social scene. If you’re not in a fraternity or a sorority you’re not really relevant at this school. Definitely consider going through rush or recruitment, you will be sorry if you miss out

If you’re not in Greek life you are a nobody. The party scene and social life is alive because of fraternities carrying the weight of the school on its back. I would not recommend coming to this school unless you’re involved in a fraternity or sorority. If you wear letters around campus and to bars you’re automatically looked at as important (as long as you’re not in a bottom tier frat or sorority)

School doesn’t support it much , neither does the geed students which highly outnumber you . I got dirty looks just for wearing letters .

We are definitely improving Greek life here. It’s definitely worth rushing or going through recruitment if you’re at USF or else you won’t have any connections to what’s going on. Highly recommend joining Greek as it’s slowly taking over USF :)
