frat scene/ social scene
by: bradHi! I was recently accepted into u of u and am heavily interested. Being from Seattle, I just am concerned about what the "vibe" of the greek scene is like. I was wondering if I could get help on information surrounding partying, drinking, etc.. I love outdoors stuff like skiing, hiking and wakesurfing, which is what draws me to Utah, but I have found little information about the greek life.

Greek life is pretty small compared to other schools, but it’s still pretty fun. There are plenty of parties to go to and if you have a decent fake, the bars are pretty easy to get around. If you’re looking for frat parties like the ones in Alabama or Florida, this is probably not the place for you, but we’re not all a bunch of celibate Mormons.
