Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at University of Tennessee at Martin - UTM 2.0 AOII are legitimately the fakest people I have met in my entire life. Their whole sorority is “elite” because they thrive off of mean girl culture: bonding over the shared experience of hate. There was one girl who fake tanned so dark she looked black. I don’t think blackfishing is classy. They bid promise girls and then break their hearts on bid day and think it’s funny. The chapter is riddled with toxic cliques, and if you aren’t pretty, blonde, skinny and wealthy, it’s very clear you don’t belong there. Literally the most rude, vain girls I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. I’m so glad I dropped AOII during fall rush.

Bid day today made me regret my decision because they all seem really close and every other sorority loves them. If you’re going through rush next year, take this from a current aoii: GO ZETA

On social media, you can see all the members take pride in their letters from their spirit week themes and captions. Being in a sorority is all about growth and the sisterhood that makes the member a better version of them and I think AOPii does that. I have friends in most of the sororities but most of my girl friends are in AOII, and that’s for a reason. The girls in AOII have never been anything other than respectful. They got lots and lots of backlash for the incident in 2019 but it never slowed them down, they adjusted and evolved.

Coming from someone who is not in greek life (and never tried to be) i’ve never come across a rude or hateful AOII. I have friends in most of the sororities but most of my girl friends are in AOII, and that’s for a reason. The girls in AOII have never been anything other than respectful. Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at University of Tennessee at Martin - UTM 3.0 if you don’t get in the OG “clique” within this sorority, you’ll be an outcast the entire time. i’ve been out with girls in this sorority and have seen their own “sisters” ignore each other and act like they don’t know who you are, but go kiss up to someone they think is better. it’s embarrassing. not a good look!
