Connections During Rush

How much do connections matter during rush for sororities? I'm from far away and know no one at USD/in a srat, will this hurt me? If so what houses so I don't get my hopes up...

Connections really don’t matter. What’s important is that you are open to meeting new people and giving each sorority your full attention. I’m from out of state and knew a couple sorority women, but I was also invited back to chapters where I didn’t know anyone.

I think they matter... I thought I had good conversations and every house except 1 dropped me. my upperclassmen friends got called back and they know girls in those sororities... I mean unless you're a freshman with 2k+ followers
