Alpha Chi Omega - ΑΧΩ Sorority Ratings at UNM

Super nice group of girls, just doesn't have as strong of a sisterhood or high retention rate due to missing aspects that other chapters have to offer, i.e. a house.

I’ll keep my identity anonymous but I have been in another sorority and then joined this one. Let me say, life changing experience. The other chapter I was in, was very cliquie and they just didn’t accept us too much. I didn’t feel at home or safe. I also didn’t feel like a part of that chapter. So I joined this chapter a year later for COB and let me tell you it had been the best decision ever. I am so happy and so loved. I feel at home and it’s just been outstanding. I love my new sisters and everything they do for me and the other new members! There are so many of us now and yet we feel like a huge happy family. Thanks Alpha Chi Omega!

Recently dated one of these girls and let me say, I messed up. She was amazing and all her Alpha Chi friends were too. I never met one petty Alpha Chi. They were real girls who had a real sisterhood and a bond. Honestly I wish I could take back my mistakes because these are the kind of girls you want to marry. I can’t give names but just know from personal experience they are truly amazing. I don’t know why the other sororities put them down so much for not having a house. It makes them unique in my opinion. I wish them the best this upcoming recruitment.

These girls are outstanding. They have faced so many hardships without a house, but they truly have overcome so much and they really are “real strong women” like their motto implies. I am friends with a lot of them whom I met during Greek week this past semester and wow they are the nicest! The other sororities really can’t compare to their level of humility, sisterhood, and TRUE beauty. Their grades have gone up to second in Panhellenic and their Instagram and social media is popping off. They also don’t need a house for validation. Overall I would rush AXO if I was a girl and would encourage everyone going through to!

I know these girls don’t have a house but at least they don’t steal you’re alcohol and pee on your floor. Just saying.

You can often recognize an Alpha Chi by her smile. And her intelligence, successful scholarly achievements, classy dressing, wise life choices and....her pin. From a chapter alumni who graduated in 1985, I wish the very best for all Alpha Chi Omegas. It goes by quickly- enjoy the moments, ladies. And go for the best with all awesome goals!

Say what you want about the other 3 sororities on campus, but they’d never PAY for sponsored Instagram ads for their posts to show up in randoms’s Insta feeds so that they would see their Insta... that’s just sad.

Alpha Chi is the best place for girls who are actually confident enough in themselves to not have a house instead of those who over compensate by having the teal and orange insta theme and tacky gucci belts. This past fall rush they only had one girl drop unlike other sororities that had half of their rush class drop. With realistically affordable dues and guy friends that they don't have to sleep with for validation they are definitely the best house.

Easily some of the nicest girls who treat their new members like family! They are all down to earth, funny, and have shown tons of improvement in campus involvement and GPA!
