is igu as bad as this site makes it seem?

I'm going to be a freshman at UMass this Fall and am thinking about rushing a sorority. It seems like IGU is the most laid-back/chill but still fun sorority, but the comments on this site make it sound miserable. I'm sort of confused by how it has the highest positive ranking for UMass but everyone seems to rank it low/last in their own ranking posts.
Basically, I'm wondering if IGU is really as frumpy and looked down-upon at UMass/among the Greek community as a lot of people on here make it seem. Is it worth trying to join?
