I personally am not involved in Greek life at UMass but based on reputations and what I have heard SK is the top sorority here. All of the girls that I’ve met and had interactions with have always been so sweet and kind… despite looking like they wouldn’t be haha. To me is seems like SK loves having girls with many different interests and personalities so it's easy to find "your people" within the sorority. Overall they're very sweet and inclusive to not just everyone within the sorority, but to all people involved in greek life and outside of greek life. Definitely recommend keeping SK on your radar especially from an outside perspective.

I’ve heard from girls in this chapter that their sisterhood is just people screwing each other over and being mean. There’s a lot of drama I feel like some of them are definitely not girls girls

Love partying with the girls in sigma kappa. They are super chill and also are actually fun to be around

I’d only attend a mixer if we were paired with SK. These are the only girls who aren’t pick me and they are fun to be around. You can tell they are true to themselves and enjoy being around one another

SK was on the up and up for a while but has really gone down hill the past few years. Lots of pretty blondes…

all of these girls are very sweet and welcoming, super fun to be around. they have good relationships with the other orgs on campus and I can tell they’re really proud of their chapter.

Honestly one of the nicest sororities on campus. you can make genuine friends for life and find people you connect w. good social scene, and fun to be around

With all the hype about inclusiveness and equity, SK is anything but. They are still clicky and it's all who you know. They don't care about those who want to be included just who THEY want to be included.

Sigma Kappa is easily the best sorority at UMass. A lot of my friends are in this sorority and I have always felt so welcomed to be in their house or around the girls. They are so inclusive and prioritize everyones mental health, then school, above all else.
