sorority ranks are weird here

sdt and dphie are top tier...
kappa & chi o are bottom...

at every other school, kappa and chi o are top
dphie and sdt are bottom

why is UM different?

Firstly, what is Kappa? That isn't a sorority here. You mean TriDelt? They're good nationally but are much less involved here. Also, Chi O isn't really top nationally.

Anyways, it's because greek life is obviously varied by every college. Just because a chapter is good nationally doesn't mean it's going to be good at every university. This is why it's important to research every specific school. E.g. Sae is good nationally but has bad chapters (e.g. UCF) - same with miami

Chi O is still a pretty young chapter here that’s why they're not as strong as other chapters of chi o yet

Chi o is definitely top nationally. Just look at the Greek ranks for real Greek life schools like Alabama or Ohio . Also sae is pretty cool at Ucf
