incoming freshman curious about rush?

so i am attending in the fall and want to rush. i don’t know anyone in sororities and don’t know how the rush process works. could anyone please describe it and is it worth it to rush?

I would definitely recommend going through recruitment. However do not read any of the ranks on this site. They are petty and provide no true depiction of each sorority. It’s a long weekend of talking to people and you’ll be confused BUT it is all worth it once you get your bid card. You will grow so much and find forever friends. I would say give it a chance. Worst case you can drop if you aren’t feeling it after a few weeks
