thoughts on ranks
by: ??The best sorority will be yours. Pnm's stop looking at rankings. Its going to set your up for a miserable rush if you go in with a certain sorority in mind. Let the process work and you will find your home! Every sorority has a mixture of smart, plain, beautiful, crazy, kind, quiet, loud, mean, talented and wild girls.

I completely agree. Just because a sorority is ranked top tier doesn’t mean anything. It doesn’t mean you will fit in with those girls or that you’ll have a great sisterhood. Some sororities have been ranked high for decades and it’s no reflection of the current girls. Find your group. There are beautiful and sweet girls in each chapter. You want to be in one that really wants you, not the other way around. You’ll be miserable if they just took you because they had to. Have an open mind. War Eagle.

Also PNM don’t get your heart set on one sorority. Many of these sororities take only Alabama girls who have connections instead of taking beautiful, smart and friendly girls from out of state who might not know anyone. But honestly unless you want a high school feel (13th grade), go for a sorority that recruits girls from all over. You’ll have a better experience and find lots of new friends. Good luck.
