old row vs. new row

by: .

Which row is better overall? Everyone hypes up old row bc it’s old row, but other than Snu old row seems kinda beat.

And DTD, AGR, Sig Tau, Delta chi, phi delt, an empty run down old delta sig house, and pi kapp(only other decent fraternity). Old row has fewer houses but closer to campus, mostly all renovated houses, and they’re all above average in almost all categories

New Row - You have the 3 power corners: Theta Chi, KA, and Beta all facing each other. Then you have Pi Kapp and Phi Delt, which are decent middle tier frats, along with DTD, AGR, and vacant Delta Sig bringing up the rear. Overall, the New Row houses are bigger and nicer but further from campus.

Old Row - Really there’s only Sigma Nu. Back when old SAE and Sigma Chi we’re top fraternities before getting kicked off, this was the better row. It’s closer to campus but the houses are older and the fraternities aren’t that great. You have ATO and Sigma Pi, which are decent. Then Phi Tau, Pike, and the newly returned SAE & Sigma Chi.

Random Row - Fiji and Lambda Chi are off on their own near downtown. So there’s that.

You lost me with Phi Delt being a middle tier fraternity. Pike and even Phi Tau are better

I’ll be the devils advocate here with Phi Delt. They have the name on their side. Back when our parents and grandparents were here, Phi Delt was a top 3 fraternity at Auburn for decades. They’ve had a rough go since the 90s, having been kicked off twice. Still, they could bounce back better than most
