Sigma Alpha Epsilon - ΣΑΕ Fraternity Ratings at MU

Honestly one of the top fraternities on campus, but that isn’t saying much. They have gone downhill the last couple years with the loss of the upperclassmen. They don’t really host events like they use to and most their events are usually boring now with an occasional banger. Most the brothers don’t seem to even want to show up to their own events. They’re all pretty great guys once you get to know them, but they are not at all approachable. Just not very friendly and don’t feel very welcoming. Could become a really great fraternity again, but they got to make some improvements which probably won’t happen as most of them seem to think they are entitled to people rushing them and going to their events

Not the most involved fraternity on campus, but besides that, they are top tier. If you want a traditional fraternity experience, rush here

Wish I would’ve rushed SAE from the start. They have the best reputation at Mercer. Very successful group of guys that love to have fun. Been to several parties and it’s clear they’re the most popular are campus

Very friendly fraternity. Although most of the fraternity consists of football players, they aren’t intimidating. By far the best frat to rush at Mercer

Best looking fraternity and most athletic on campus. Gets the most girls and has the best parties. Half of the frat plays football so it’s very involved with other sports teams

Great brotherhood and very authentic unlike some others.They like to party and have a good time, but also know where they stand.The answer is at the top.The premier athletes and good looking students belong to this fraternity.They have an outstanding record and are very generous people.

SAE has the potential to be the first SEC like frat on campus, they just can't seem to stay out of trouble. It may be due to the fact that Mercer has stricter guidelines than most schools but it still seems that SAE doesn't really seem to care about the rules. They hold almost all of their parties at a house off campus and if you enjoy house parties, then you should check them out. After recently coming back from suspension (for what seems like the millionth time), they've opened up their recent pledge class to some guys I wouldn't usually see fitting into the chapter. I'm looking forward to seeing where they go in the future, and I hope they can keep their noses clean for atleast a little while.
