transferring looking for fraternity life

tricky situation - im a newly initiated brother in a school where greek life is not too prevalent, my pledge class is not a right fit for me, and my fraternity does not have a chapter at UF, when i transfer, will i be able to rush and join a fraternity?

Generally, isn't "for life" a theme in fraternities? Unless you disaffiliate, you probably can't join any other fraternity

yes, you either go alumni or disaffiliate when you transfer. So you technically aren't an active brother anywhere. Frats might not want to bid you or keep you if they feel it's a problem.

my chapter wouldn't take you because you have been initiated into another organization. I'm sure one or two would but i don't think many like to take people who've been apart of another organization.
