How long does it take to get a bid from a frat, on average? How does the process work?

I'm not a guy, but I have had many friends rush. Don't stick to one place, and don't stop going to other places if they give you a "verbal bid," because it means nothing. The reason I say this cause I had a couple friends receive a verbal bid from a brother so they stop going anywhere else, but they got dropped on the last night and ended up not pledging anywhere. Most of my friends got their bids after a couple days.

Rush also lasts a week, starting with an orientation on a Sunday and ended on Friday. Friday is invite only
