I agree that Pi Kapp’s new house is awesome, but let’s see what the lawsuit settlement for the FSU Pi Kapp’s death does to the party atmosphere there. It could dampen the good times with anti-alcohol restrictions. Also, it’s a big, expensive house that will require a lot of members to help pay for it. If they have to sacrifice the quality of their new members in order to get the numbers that they need, they could be in bad shape. I’m betting that Delt holds the higher ground for now, but they’ll have to up their involvement and attract quality members or risk losing their spot to Pi Kapp.

Nothing about the new house puts any stress on the financial situation of the chapter. It was built with alumni donations and is not more in dues than any other house on campus.

Pi Kapp House is nice, but Theta Chi is better. Still, it’s better than Delt’s. But, I do like Delt courtyard for parties. Delts have a stronger membership, but Pi Kapp House will help bring them back up.

If you haven't noticed, PI KAPP HAS BEEN BACK UP. Its historically been a very strong house with very strong alumni including Ben Hill Griffin...no financial problems there.

Delta and Pi Kapp both typically have about 125 - 140 members and take in about 40 new members a year between fall and spring rush.

So that means Pi Kapp is going at least need 20 in spring to be initiated. That doesn’t include the fact of the cost of the house so they may need to take more
