pi kapp party sucks
by: angryPi kapp throws the lamest parties ever. Like seriously couldn’t be anymore lame. Everyone is walking away from it so annoyed because of how lame their party is. Never going to another one of their parties again and I don’t think anyone else is either.

Y’all are so dumb, it’s a registered party at UF. After the decline and mishaps within Greek life (especially Pi Kapp), do u genuinely think IFC is gonna let a fraternity slide with serving questionably underage kids alcohol. Quickest way to get your chapter kicked off campus.

Does UF require registration of frat parties? Are the rules available online where I can read them? Are cops required at all frat parties? I drink at the mid bars, but I'm not going to drink in front of a cop or let a cop look at my ID. Is this why frats have off-campus houses?

It's just marv that Pi Kapp is doing its part to keep alcohol out of the hands of underage kids. I'm sure all frats will quickly copy the idea of cops at the doors checking IDs rather than risking getting kicked off campus.
But, at their next party, Pi Kapp should post a sign that tells underage girls who want to party and drink to head for the off-campus parties put on Beta and Phi Delt, where they can party without being chaperoned by cops. (Be sure to add a caution to be careful driving back to campus if drunk.)
Or, maybe there really are some on-campus frats left who have alcohol under control and who aren't as fanatical in preventing every freshman and sophomore from sipping a beer.

As long as it’s an honor system and not under the watch of police, that’s easy to get around.

I wasn't at the party, so I can only guess why some people thought the party sucked. But, maybe the cop checking IDs had some impact. Let's hope that no one dies from heavy drinking at frats for the next few years so this over-regulation of alcohol can be put behind us. From what I hear, the drinking used to be far worse in years past.

I mean no one could go in over because there was literally a cop there checking ids so you would have needed to come in wasted and then you had to pay for the drinks. Might as well go to mid instead.
