sorority opinions?

by: hi

I'm thinking of transferring to LMU this fall but want to get a good idea of the different sorority reputations. Not that reputations/stereotypes define each greek organization, I'm just curious. Honestly it seems like just about all the sororities at LMU are pretty solid but I wanted to get opinions from actual students.

So I'm not sure if you know this, but we don't join sororities based on whether or not every girl in the chapter is an exact clone of our personality. All sororities have girls that range from super athletic to super academic. Some sororities are more popular based on looks. Again, this happens. Some girls party a lot, some don't. But nobody is gonna sit here and say "XYZ sorority all party daily and pull all the guys!" Because the reality is, this isn't ASU. Our school is too small and too Jesuit to allow any categorization to ever happen ever. So don't look for BS like that.

Top: Alpha phi: suppose to be the “hottest” girls on campus. Have the reputation of not being the friendliest and more cliquey yet there are some very sweet girls
Theta: also have very pretty girls but are more friendly and outgoing to people on campus

Middle: Delta Gamma: more trendy and party girls but very involved on campus
Pi phi: known as the sweet girls on campus and more take home to mom types, have the highest GPA average compared to all the sororities
AXO: still somewhat new and trying to make their mark on campus but are rising really fast, have super sweet and cute girls

Bottom
DZ: mostly socially awkward girls and spend a lot of time with each other
Tri Delt: sweet girls but on the quirkier side but can be friendly
