I am a freshman ChemE with a 3.23. Can I get into a top tier sorority with my gpa, especially considering that I’m in a much harder major than most other people rushing?

I also know DG is top tier but has the lowest sorority GPA as of last spring so there doesn’t seem to be a huge correlation between tier and gpa based on the gpa rankings I’ve seen

there are girls from all different majors in every sorority so don't worry they will help you, if you have questions about academics ask during rush

As a person in a top tier sorority I would say yeah you are fine with that GPA. Dont publicly say that your major is harder than everyone else’s though, it’s true but won’t make you many friends during the rush process

Minimum gpa is around 2.75 for most sororities so it won’t even come up unless you talk about it lol

It comes up even if you’re above 2.7 in behind the scenes conversations for houses that want to keep up a high GPA. For my house, if you’re under a 3 you should probably be 10/10 in other “categories” to be desired
