They are a service sorority, you get what you pay for (not a lot). If you are not interested in mixing with other greek organizations, you don't care about national involvement, and you aren't going into a field where alumni contacts are helpful, O phi A might be for you. With that being said it's still a sorority, they still have cliques and pettnies.

Omega Phi Alpha is such a wonderful organisation. They are focused on developing service opportunities, leadership opportunities, and sisterhood and I have had nothing but wonderful experiences as a sister. They are so dedicated to servicing the community and the sisters and are so loving and accepting of members of the sorority and of the community. It is a small chapter but that hasn’t stopped them from doing great things and I will forever be proud to call myself a sister of Omega Phi Alpha
