top fraternities tier list winter 2019

I'm not gonna go into all the frats or even into the needed detail to make this ranking indisputable so this post doesn't get removed for violating tos. So don't be annoyed if I am vague or seem to just make bold statements, they are correct. I also will not be reviewing past 2b for its pretty much splitting hairs for another 6ish frats until you have the last few.

1a
phi delt and sigma chi
these two stay on top even tho I thought pike would be joining them in 1a. These two just have things that keep the gap between any other fraternity looking to join them in 1a to much to overcome. This is of course because of the housing perks. sigma chi has the best party house on main hands down, and probably all of kent, with the only house being able to compete on main with it is the phi delt one. phi delt still stays competitive for its the first one on main which lets them normally have first choice of dgi's girls if they want any in, and because it is constantly flooded with a phi's. phi delt's chapter house also is the only actual fraternity house on fraternity circle with their next door neighbors being all the sororities that they have all to themselves. the benefits that come from these two's housing is just too much. the fact that phi delt was the only house that was packed from the front yard to the basement on winter homecoming proves its true.

1b
pike
you had a great fall rush class but you have to learn one thing, location location location. your houses are nice, and you have multiple of them, but they are awkward to get too and out of the way from the normal party hopping circuit. you debatably have just as many good members as those in 1a if not more and are known as the athletic frat, but until you get the housing to permanently cement yourself as a top fraternity I and many a phis will choose the phi delt dad bods over you.(just get a house in a great location and you will be top)

2a
sigma nu, kappa sigma
you fell a decent amount snu, you still have a great group of guys but its still the same ten of them that do everything for you. You put all your eggs into the main party house basket yet you are debatably not even a top three party house on main, with three being the potential best ranking. diversify what you do. Have more brothers involved, diversify your partying houses or invest in main with more fun party themes and house improvements to really try to compete with phi delt and sigma chi. hey look at that, kappa sigma is creeping forward again. they have a sweet house just outside fraternity circle, which doesn't give them the same bonus as phi delt, but at least they can see the beautiful sorority houses. gator house is the best party house on university even with it being the furthest one down the street. the recent fundraiser with phi delt helps a lot with the cred needed for being a top house, hopefully keep you on doing that with them. you had the right housing for a long time, but you have finally started to really put yourself out there. keep on recruiting hard, make sure to show off what ya got and you'll be in 1b before you know it.

2b
sae, ato
hit characters count so this is short, solid fraternities that seem to have reached their peaks for what they have. sae is number 2 on university and ato is in the debate for 3rd on main for. sae is in the same boat as pike and need better house locations to move any further. ato is like snu and needs to go all in with themed parties and house improvements.
