How imporant is gpa during recruitment

You need to have a pretty good GPA to get into a sorority, nothing below a 2.5 for sure. When you go through recruitment each house will have a GPA minimum that you have to uphold, some are higher and some are lower. Some houses will recruit you only if you have a high GPA because they want their house to have the highest academic record. I would say don’t worry about it too much.

Every chapter has a GPA standard. That’s not a recommendation it’s a standard.

If they feel you could be a liability and make the chapter GPA bad or not make grades and waste their time, they don’t have to give you a bid.
