They're really nice and sisterhood is getting stronger. I'm not in this sorority or any for that matter but I've met many gphis who have talked about making things better and they're genuine.

I’ve had my doubts of dropping Gphi, but it always comes down to they are some of the most genuine people i know. I feel accepted and loved by every single one of the girls. Things have been really rough for us lately, and dealing w many hateful accusations and people talking down on our sorority. We have only used it to make us stronger and bring us closer together. My biggest advice is to go where your heart feels you belong, even though things aren’t greatest w Gphi right now, i wouldn’t want to be anywhere else

I was apart of this chapter and loved it when I was there. I did drop because of one member in particular. She bullies people and posts on social media about people. I had to drop because there was no accountability for her actions. She had been a menace in the sorority for over a year. Over half of the sorority has dropped since I joined because of her. Some of the advisors don’t do their job either. They won’t answer their emails or deal with any issues. Many of the rules state that the members really can’t make any decisions or changes without the permission of the advisors (which makes no sense to me because we are adults) and the advisors don’t even answer or if they do they brush off the issues that need addressed. I love all of the members accept the one bully. I found a family there, and will continue to be friends with all of the amazing women that I have come to know and love. I hope that in the future their will be changes made and the advisors will wake up and do their jobs and they will kick out the member that is haunting the sorority and bringing Gamma Phis name down. I wish them all the best luck!

I've heard some bad rumors ab them and would say to avoid this sorority \n\n\n\n\n

I was a part of the GPB chapter a couple years back. I felt like I was pretty close to a lot of the girls but if you leave the school they basically shun you. I’d understand them shunning me if I left the sorority and stayed at the school but I completely transferred schools. From my experience it was a fun and loving sisterhood at first but as it went on I started to see all the different cliques within the sorority and it became less fun. I wish it didn’t turn out the way it did for me because I loved all the lady’s I was close to but now none of them talk to me in any way. I didn’t do formal rushing so I don’t know how other sororities were but they were so welcoming to me that I didn’t even bother going to a different sorority! I loved the sorority and their philanthropy of girls on the run but just be cautious that the sisterhood might not be for life like other sororities are, unless things have changed since I was a part of it!

A bottom tier sorority that is never around

So let me first say that if you're a PNM on this site, GET OFF!!!! this site has tuned into the burn book from the "mean girls" movie. That is not who we are as a Panhellenic community. That being said, I FREAKING LOVE GPHI!!! They're so passionate about Girls on the Run, and raise so much money for it! Their philanthropy is literally my favorite on campus. Some of the best people that I know are from GPHI, and would drop anything at the drop of a hat to help you! This chapter is full of kindhearted, genuine people that accept you as you are and only want the best for you. I literally haven't met a GPHI that I dont like. Please trust your own gut, and base your opinions of chapters off of your own experience!

I look up to the women in this sorority! They love their members for being authentically themselves, and will never tell another women they don't belong. They have been known to accept literally anyone, and I challenge those people to think if that is a bad thing or not. This sorority sees the good in people, and they look beyond the surface. They get to know the person, not the brand of clothes they use. They have worked hard for everything they have, and I would be proud to be a part of this sorority.
