What’s it like being in a bottom house. Not trying to bash at all but would want to hear about SK, or DZ and Theta. Like what are the attitudes and what keeps their numbers low

OKAY so.
house ranking does not matter unless you are shallow.
it's based on instagram and wealth so if you're seriously depending on ranks to figure out if u should join a sorority, u prolly shouldn't cuz yer not in it for the right reason. sorry!

Ehh some recent ranks on this site are accurate for social life, involvement, and sisterhood. These things are important if you’re joining an organization that costs money and time.

You sound butt hurt. Any smart girl would question why a house has to recruit ALL YEAR and long past formal recruitment. The houses with high turnover are that way for a reason. It’s a big commitment, nothing shallow about being cautious

I know girls who wished they had not picked their house based on this site. Rankings mean nothing excpet maybe to freshman so pick the girls you like and remember as soon as you hit 21 no goes to frat parties anyway!!

Theta is bottom, unfortunately, they simply aren't involved enough with the greek community to rise up. Maybe if they tried a little bit harder to show support to other houses, especially Panhellenic sisters, they could rise up, but they don't.

They are really involved though. They go to all the other houses philanthropy events. I agree they aren’t bottom they’re lower middle

Theta is heading up the bottom. Lots of work to do to move to crowded middle.

I just got a bid and now have serious second thoughts! I wish I would’ve waited until fall! I’m so freaked out! I know if I drop I can’t go thru recruitment again but will everyone hate me? It’s so embarrasing I hate myself

If I don’t accept a bid will they totally hate me? I got totally emo and jumped into spring recruitment thinking nothing would actually happen

@M2 Some of them will hate you, some will understand. I believe only SK, DZ, & Theta did COB this time, so you have a decent chance of getting a middle house if you actually go through rush. Then you won’t really see your dropped house again so don’t worry what they think.

You have that feeling when it’s right. Do yourself and that house a big favor by declining. Fall recruitment is so much fun and the full experience.

TBH any house having to recruit right now will still need you in the fall.

Theta new house looks like a Bama New Greek Row - not a compliment. No charm or individuality. Like an apartment building

I just wanted to find a house and be in a sorority. There are so many girls that I knew it would work out and I would make new friends at any chapter. I pretty much laughed when the entire top and middle tiers dropped me.
