enough is enough

Scrolling through these discussion posts, I'm disappointed at the number of girls I see saying cruel things about their own chapters. I'm sorry you feel that way, and I'm sorry if you feel that it was the "worst decision of your life" (I guarantee, this seems much more dramatic at 18 then it will 5-10 years down the road,) but to publicly bash your own chapter on such a public platform is immature and downright mean. No one forced you to stay as apart of a sisterhood you don't feel connected to. No one threatened you to stay until initiation. Complaining isn't helping you and it certainly isn't helping your chapter. Just because you are miserable does not mean that your views reflect the opinions of the chapter as a whole.
And honestly, you act so detatched, as if you're too good to be a part of your chapter, insulting the girls who pledged their membership to it, but you girls who are complaining did too. If you don't like it, drop, quit pretending you're helping by warning others away.
You act like you are out of place in a chapter "full of rejects," but you accepted the bid. You stayed long enough to be initiated. I'm sure they'll be sad to see you go, but if you're so unhappy do yourself the favor of dropping already.
