by: Theta FreshmanI just found out about this website and I honestly agree with the girl below me because omg are we not doing well. I'm initiated and that pretty much ruined my chances of joining anyone else. I wish I didn't run home on bid day because the next four years are going to suck. I wish literally anyone would've taken me. Theta was the bottom of my list and I think I would've been better off just waiting another year before rushing again. I noticed how unexcited everyone else was around me when we "ran home" because it was everyones last choice. The girls in here are weird and not fun to be around. I even hope we get disbanded.

But why should someone have to put all of their effort and faith into an organization that won't listen to them? It's not like she released confidential processes or ritual. Maybe Eta Omicron could see this and use it as an opportunity for critique and improvement

To Empathy, anyone who uses a public forum to voice such concerns as those on the recent anti-Theta threads is not helping the chapter nor providing an opportunity for critique and improvement. I haven't seen anything that even resembles a constructive comment and I don't see that airing out these types of comments in public was meant to be anything other than the expression of negatives about the chapter by individuals who do not wish to be members. Individuals who actually care about the chapter or Theta nationally would not complain on a public website. If indeed these members feel the chapter "doesn't listen to them" and they do not want maintain membership, then the appropriate behavior would be to resign and voice concerns to chapter leadership and/or advisors.

I agree with this completely. If you have a problem with the chapter bring it up to Thetas leadership board, letting your frustrations out in the internet will not help you in any way. If your that unhappy either resign, or take it upon yourself to help make the chapter better. I'm sure the chapter doesn't extend bids to everyone like most people say, they saw something in you and thought you'd be women joining their chapter. Sad to see that people like you are what's hurting their chapter.

I read your comment on the other girls post! You're so sweet thank you. Yeah, I've noticed even when being here for 3 months that there isn't much good to go around. I feel like they need to be more selective in their process because letting everyone in is hurting their chances, but at the same time because no one rushes them they aren't meeting quota so then they get worried and just accept everyone anyway. Honestly I feel like we're better off disbanding.
