Ok so just to make it clear bc there is an org on here that is ruining it for everyone: it goes dphie, aephi, and zeta on top tier, kappa and pi phi on middle tier, then ast and dg on bottom.

NYU greeklife is cool because people actually know each other between orgs. Everyone has friends in different orgs because greek life is relatively small. Even though NYU greeklife isn’t like state schools it’s still a lot of fun. You can party, have fun, and find your people.

RANKINGS Top Fraternities: Delta Kappa Epsilon (DKE), Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI), Zeta Psi, Alpha Epsilon Pi (AEPi) Top Sororities: Delta Phi Epsilon (DPhiE), Kappa Kappa Gamma (KKG), Zeta Tau Alpha (ZTA), Alpha Epsilon Phi (AEPhi) Greek life in New York City is amazing. NYU students always complain about a lack of community here, but Greek life literally solves that. The number of members have been increasing dramatically in recent years - and so has the competition to get a bid. Formals and Date Parties are at the city's best clubs. Some sororities have penthouses with incredible views of Midtown Manhattan. The networking opportunities within each chapter are insane. People around the country are starting to notice NYU's Greek life and party scene and for all the right reasons.

Core four: aephi/dphie/kappa /zeta dke/fiji/aepi/zet a psi

Yeah so if you want to join any sort of real organization at nyu, go with the top 4 sororities: aephi, dphie, zeta, kappa (in that order) or the top 3 fraternities in (Fiji, DKE, or AEPi) all good guys, just find the right one. other than those, its irrelevant.

Every frat on campus except for Zeta Psi is entirely irrelevant. Pike is in the shifter but AEPi and Fiji are both doing as well if not better than before. Sororities are decent but the sisters don't seem to be wildly close and they tend to get cliquey. AEPhi and DPhiE tend to duke it out for top with Zeta a little behind, again everyone else is mostly irrelevant.

Greek like at NYU is trash. The sororities that are top tier here don’t even exist at other campuses. Kappa is considered mid tier here but they’re literally top house across the nation. DG is also an amazing chapter at other schools and they’re close to nobody here. The top houses here aren’t even real chapters at other colleges. want Greek life? Go to usc + UCLA bc you’re not getting sisterhood here.

if you want a social life only rush the ones that matter frats: pike, aepi, fiji, zeta psi sororities: dphie, aephi, zta, kkg

Only rush the relevant ones if you want sister/brotherhood and a social life. Aephi, dphie, zta, kappa, pi phi for girls and off campus or zeta psi for guys
