Kappa Delta is a great sorority from the outside. Several friends who are members have said that they all secretly hate each other but put on a good face, especially during recruitment.

Kappa Delta tries to be the classiest girls on campus. And some are and then you have other girls that when it’s after dark, they aren’t too classy at all. They’re a good sorority but need better sisterhood. They’re WAY too cliquey

The few KDs I have met have been nice... But that is about it. No personality and not known to be very fun girls. They tend to only want to talk to other KDs....?

When going through recruitment, I thought they seemed nice. A few of the girls were very ditzy and lacked conversation skills, but they tried and made a somewhat good impression. However, after I decided not to join their sorority, the girls who seemed so nice to me during recruitment never smiled at me or even made friendly contact with me when passing by or during classes. It really made me question if they were sincere or just trying to impress girls during recruitment.

This weekend I made my way back to morehead as an alum to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the local Kappa Delta chapter. From what I’ve heard, this group of girls hosted the best and most unique celebration on campus regarding the local founders day. It makes me so proud to say that this chapter is only growing stronger and focus on the valuable things students should prioritize. It touched my heart to see how much these girls support and love each other while maintaining their top tier status.
