Just wondering if anyone with an unbiased opinion can rank this year's sororities.

These are true tier rankings (all for different reasons):

top: Aphi, Gphi, and DG

middle upper: Kappa and Pi phi

middle: Theta

Lower: AGD and Tri Delta

I would say this is based off the friends that I've made within the different sororities and their personalities and looks.

1. DG
2. Aphi
3. Gphi
4. Theta
5. Kappa (comes super close to Theta)
6. Pi Phi
7. Tridelt
8. AGD

But take this with a grain of salt, if you're rushing a sorority, go for whichever one you fit in regardless of the ranking, you'll have the best college experience and make the closest friends.

okay realistically

All Greek life at Chapman is phenomenal. Unlike many other schools, there is abundant support between chapters. Whatever chapter you end up in is going to be filled with extraordinary women. Seriously trust the process and spread the love!

Here are the representations/ general consensus/ rankings from what I've noticed.

1) Aphi
- the top of the top and likely to remain there
- known as being the hottest
- associates with Pike
2) DG
- basically known as the Aphi with personality
- super gorgeous girls
- many really funny girls
- many dancers
3) Gphi!!
- sweetest girls
- so much personality
- cute
- reputation going up
tied for 4)Kappa
- harder to get into
- they look for very particular girls
- all beautiful inside and out
tied for 4) Pi Phi
- more of a party reputation
- still relatively new
- only moving up in reputation
tied for 4) Theta
- more of an academic/witty reputation
- diversity!! all women with personality though
- super good friends to have
- reputation slipped a little from last year
5) Tri Delta
6) AGD

Stop self-ranking! PNMs just hope you realize that all these threads that say A Phi is a top house were written by A Phi actives and alums. They've been reported this year.

reason why I’m unaffiliated YIKES but here are the realistic ranking no one wants to realize and a lot of salty girls will dislike but oh well you all still get the same amount of attention. but here’s how it goes and will go probably for a while

all still going in rank order
top: (all for different reasons leading them to be higher ranked)
APHI - forever at the top
DG - will stay at the top
GPHI - puts in a lotta work to keep up with their rep up here

mid: (some are on the come up but still mid at best for certain aspects)
THETA
KAPPA
PI PHI

bottom: (still really amazing chapters)
TRI DELT
AGD

in no order, just tiers

top tier: dg/gphi/aphi

middle tier: kappa/pi phi/theta

bottom tier: tri delta/agd

I am no affiliated, so I am unbiased.. unlike a lot of the other rankings on here. These are the true rankings for this year

Coming from a male Junior at Chapman, I’d say it’s Alpha Phi, Gamma Phi Beta, and Delta Gamma at top. They are hot and fun girls who really care about staying at top.
The middle two are great but mixed in the middle (Kappa, Piphi). Still pretty but less involved..
Then Theta, AGD and Tri delta last (smart and nice but not as cool)

If you want the whole truth on the top houses before you go through recruitment:

Gphi has a past of dirty rushing by telling you that they want you, but they don’t give you a bid (not cool). But if you do actually get in I’ve heard that they are pretty nice.
I know people in A phi and DG that don’t like their own sororities and wish that they rushed a different one. They’re really nice to you during recruitment but once you’re in, the act fades. Some compete to be top with in their own sorority...

So while you’re going through recruitment just keep in mind that what you want is the house that you feel the most comfortable with rather than choosing a house just because it has the title of one of the top houses.

This is all sadly very true, but if you actually like the people in these top houses and they like you, don't let these comments stop you from joining.
But, at the same time, if you get A Phi, DG, or G phi as one of your final two sororities during recruitment, don't just pick them because they are "top" or higher compared to your other choice. A title doesn't matter. You'll regret being this shallow In the long run when you don't like/fit in with your sorority.
Just see who you fit in with and feel the most at home with during recruitment and you'll be good and have a better overall college experience.

If you’re a PNM, you have all of first semester to get to know some girls and make up your own mind about the “rankings” of sororities if that’s what you need to do.
