rush

All anyone really wants is to talk with girls who are nice, easy to talk to, and excited about the process. Don't dismiss any house while you're STILL THERE (trust me, we can tell if you're belittling us/only want to join because you think we're a "top house" and you're not paying attention to our conversation). Greek life here is really chill and everyone hangs out with all the other sororities and fraternities. So just be yourself, be nice, hand out some compliments, and you'll be fine. So much of recruitment is honestly just luck (whether or not you end up talking to a girl at a certain house you really click with, etc.), so you there's no point stressing. Just enjoy meeting everyone and try to make friends.

Just be yourself honestly. If you fake your way through recruitment you can land yourself in a chapter where you don't fit in & trust me, that's not what you want. Also, don't let what "tier" a chapter is in effect the way you act when you're in their room. Treat the top sorority exactly the same as you'd treat the bottom & vice versa. Be genuine, be friendly & don't be afraid to ask the girl you're talking to questions about her chapter & her experience as well! After all, as nice as it is to be wanted by any chapter, you want to pick the chapter that's right for YOU. Don't forget to smile & most of all have fun! Recruitment is a great experience & an awesome way to get to know ALL of the chapters on campus, even the ones you choose not to join.

This is great advice, DO NOT SUICIDE RUSH. it's better to give a chapter you might not expect to like a chance for a few weeks before deciding to drop than not receiving a bid at all.
